What happens after your offer is accepted
The moment your offer is accepted, your deal becomes a live transaction. Open My Transactions from your account menu to see it.
Inside, GIDDY DIGS lays out the whole path to closing as a set of deadlines and tracks each one for you:
- Deadline to Accept: the window for an offer or counter to be accepted
- Seller disclosures: when the seller's property condition disclosures are due
- Earnest money: when your deposit has to be in the trust account (see "How earnest money works")
- Due diligence: your time to inspect the home (see "The due diligence period")
- Financing & appraisal: when your loan and appraisal need to be locked in
- Settlement: signing day
Each deadline shows the exact date and time (Mountain Time). When one gets within 72 hours, GIDDY DIGS flags it as urgent and shows a live "hours remaining" countdown so nothing sneaks up on you, and in the final hour it counts down by the minute.
You don't have to track any of this on a spreadsheet or wait for someone to remind you. The transaction view is always current. For legal specifics about your contract, it's wise to consult a licensed attorney.
